  • The NCC Education Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies (L3IFDHES) is an Ofqual-regulated program developed by esteemed UK academics. Its primary objective is to assist students in successfully transitioning to UK and international undergraduate studies with a view to holistic educational development. This bridging qualification provides an entry route to university programs or advancement to the NCC Education Level 4 programs. It is specifically designed for individuals whose first language is not English and who aspire to pursue higher education qualifications taught and assessed in English. 

    The diploma encompasses a diverse range of elective units that correspond to various fields of study, including business, computing, health sciences, finance, and engineering. It also helps students improve their study and research skills, equipping them for degree-level education comprehensively. The NCC Education Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies (L3IFDHES) is widely recognized and highly valued by universities worldwide, enabling successful candidates to progress to over seventy university programs in the UK and overseas.

    Scholarships

    AUS offers a diverse portfolio of merit- and need-based scholarships, with awards extending up to 100% of tuition costs. All applicants are automatically considered for scholarship eligibility upon submission of their application, ensuring equitable access without requiring a separate process.

    TUITION RATE

    For the 2024-2025 academic year, AUS has established a tuition fee of $100.00 per vocational education unit (VEU), adhering to its policy as a private institution of maintaining a uniform rate regardless of the student's state of residency. This reflects AUS's commitment to equitable education access, aligning with its mission to provide high-quality academic opportunities.

    Admission to professional, executive, continuing education, vocational certificate, and diploma programs at The American University of Science (AUS) is governed by a framework that reflects the institution’s enduring commitment to academic excellence, professional advancement, and global inclusivity. These standards ensure that every participant possesses the foundational knowledge, linguistic capacity, and professional readiness to engage meaningfully in applied, practice-oriented learning environments.

    • Educational Background – Applicants must present a recognized high school diploma or equivalent credential, confirming possession of the essential academic competencies required for advanced vocational and continuing education.

    • Language Proficiency – Non-native speakers are encouraged to demonstrate English proficiency at a minimum CEFR B2 level via recognized assessments, ensuring readiness for instruction, collaboration, and professional application.

    • Relevant Experience – Select programs may require evidence of professional or industry-related experience directly aligned with program objectives, affirming applied readiness and practical insight.

    • Competency Evaluation – Applicants may undergo preliminary assessments to validate specific academic or technical skills essential for program success.

    • Technical Capability – For digitally delivered or hybrid programs, candidates must demonstrate access to technology and digital literacy, ensuring seamless engagement with online platforms and program-specific tools.

    Through these standards, AUS guarantees that professional and vocational programs remain globally relevant, academically rigorous, and strategically impactful.

    CRITERIA PROGRAM-SPECIFIC STANDARDS

    Applicants must conform to specified standards for the consideration for an unconditional offer of admission:

    • Attaining GCSE/IGCSE 'O' Levels, or a comparable qualification*, with a minimum of 'C', '4', or equivalent grades in five subjects, including Mathematics and English.

    *The American University of Science (AUS) reserves the right to determine the equivalency of qualifications and grades for applicants pursuing admission through non-GCSE or unconventional pathways.

    Eligibility and Admission Standards for English Language Proficiency

    Proficiency in English is a mandatory admission requirement for all programs at The American University of Science (AUS), ensuring academic excellence, global engagement, and uncompromised quality of instruction. Applicants must demonstrate competence through one of four pathways:

    1. Nationality-Based Qualification – Automatic eligibility applies to nationals of AUS-recognized English-speaking countries. Verification requires a valid passport or national ID.

    2. Education-Based Qualification – Undergraduate applicants qualify by completing secondary education in an English-speaking country with English as the sole medium of instruction. Graduate applicants qualify by earning a bachelor’s degree or higher under the same conditions. Official transcripts and institutional verification are required.

    3. Professional Experience-Based Qualification – Applicants may qualify with at least two consecutive years of full-time professional employment in the last ten years in an English-speaking country, where English was the primary language of communication. Employer verification and references are required.

    4. Standardized Assessment – Applicants may meet requirements by achieving CEFR B2 through recognized exams: TOEFL iBT (72), IELTS Academic (6.0), or Cambridge FCE/CAE/CPE (160). Alternatively, candidates may take the AUS EPASS, earning a Certificate of English Language Proficiency (CELP).

    All evidence must be dated within two years. AUS reserves the right to request further verification.
