The tuition policy for the 2025–2026 academic year reflects The American University of Science’s unwavering commitment to accessibility, academic excellence, and financial transparency. By standardizing tuition rates and simplifying program-level costs, AUS ensures that all students—regardless of geographic location—receive a consistent, fair, and clearly communicated financial framework for their academic investment.

This policy applies to all enrolled graduate students during the designated academic year.

    Graduate Tuition Rate

For the 2025–2026 academic year, tuition is established at a rate of 1,000 US dollars per Undergraduate Semester Credit Hour (USCH). This rate is applicable across all graduate-level courses and programs, unless otherwise specified under a flat-rate tuition structure.

Key features of the tuition rate:

    • Uniform cost per credit hour for all students, without differentiation based on state, territory, or country of residence

    • Aligned with AUS’s financial integrity and strategic mission to deliver world-class academic instruction with fiscal clarity and institutional equity

    • Subject to periodic review and formal approval by the AUS Board of Trustees

    Flat-Rate Tuition Structure

In addition to per-credit-hour billing, AUS offers select graduate and professional programs under a flat-rate tuition model. This model defines a single, fixed tuition fee for the entirety of the program, regardless of duration, pacing, or delivery modality.

    Benefits of flat-rate tuition:

    • Enables predictable and transparent long-term financial planning

    • Removes variable cost factors related to credit load or semester distribution

    • Supports AUS’s student-first approach to affordability, stability, and trust

Programs covered under the flat-rate model will be clearly designated in all program brochures, admissions materials, and enrollment agreements.

    Tuition Policy Objectives

The AUS tuition framework is designed to:

    • Promote equity by applying consistent tuition policies to all students

    • Support affordability through predictable cost structures

    • Ensure transparency in all financial communications and billing processes

    • Maintain the academic quality and institutional sustainability necessary for AUS to deliver its mission

    Conclusion

The 2025–2026 tuition policy embodies AUS’s principles of fairness, access, and educational excellence. Through uniform pricing, flat-rate options, and transparent practices, AUS affirms its role as a private university committed to serving a globally diverse student population without compromising on value, clarity, or integrity.
